DO NOT advertise delivery if you do not deliver. Just called to place an order for delivery to my office (which is 0.4 miles away) only to be told that my address is "no good." A different person comes on the phone and proceeds to yell at me and then hang up.
My friend calls back to try and place an order, but sadly suffered my same fate. After wasting our time trying to communicate our order and address, this business HANGS UP.
Rude. -

Odeng soup and kimbap were very good.
Dukbokki was too sweet and didn't taste like much. First time I've had it so nothing to compare it to.
Place was kinda dirty and had a lot of flies. But small hole in the wall -

I ordered dduckboki and soondae from here and the price came up a whopping 20 dollars for what I intended to be a quick street food meal for one.
Soondae was microwaved wrapped in a piece of wet paper towel to be reheated and tasted gamey. I ended up throwing away a big portion of it.
Korean dduckboki can be cooked in variety of different ways (e.g., spice level, type of rice cakes, sweetness level, how much other stuff go inside). I've definitely had better spicy rice cakes prepared at other Korean spots. The spicy rice cake from this place also didn't really taste like any of the street food type spicy rice cake in Korea.
There is also no seating there, so only call in advance to get your order to go if you are inclined to give it a try! -

Wow. This is truly authentic korean ddukbokki experience you will get in Los Angeles. It is literally the halmoni herself making the food and taking care of the shop.
Food: kimbop is amazing. The ingredients aren't much different but it's really the best one I've had so far in LA. Ddukbokki has that korean country side gochujang flavor, it will not taste like yupdduk or jopok, little bit rich flavor-- so it'll depend on your preference on how you like your ddukbokki.
Parking: it's on Santee alley, parking can be tough but I saw that there is some parking a street further from the shop. Also, you can park in the alley by Chinese restaurant nearby and call in advance (10min prior) and ask for a pick up. She makes it on her own so it takes time for her to prepare everything.
Price: I bought kimbop, ddukbokki, and kimmalee- it was enough to feed 3 people. Three roles of kimbop, three roles of kimmalee and also comes with odeng soup-- only $22 total. CASH ONLY
this is truly a hidden gem. I almost would not want to post a review here. It's truly an authentic korean boonshik place. Love.
